Looking for Fun, Challenge, Adventure or Freedom in the SF Bay Area?
Would you and your significant other like to fly to Mendocino for the day or
Santa Barbara or L.A. for the weekend and miss all of the traffic? Then get your pilot's
license! Call 650-224-7124 or email now for an
introductory flight lesson. Note: We specialize in training in the most
modern and safe glass cockpit aircraft available, including G1000-equipped
Cessnas and parachute-equipped Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft. We're also factory
trained in the Columbia 350 and 400, and can help you bring your new plane home
and teach you in it.
I'm Max Trescott, and flying is my passion! If you think it might be yours,
and you want to learn to fly in Palo Alto or San Jose, California, give me a call to
talk about your goals and schedule a lesson. I fly because it's fun. Come join the fun!
Getting a license is probably easier than you think. Some of the most common questions are about the Cost of
getting a license and the FAA requirements for a
pilots
license. You can also learn about safety,
and check out some of the fun
destinations to which pilots fly. You can start the process of
studying today--order our recommended books. If you'd
like me to email you my free 2-page "Tips
for getting a Private Pilot's License," send me an email now.
Glass Cockpit training in Garmin G1000 equipped
Cessna 172 and 182 and Garmin G1000 equipped Diamond DA-40 now available!
Here's what my students have said after their checkrides:
"We pulled in and the examiner said he wished that most people would
come to him as prepared as I was as it made his job easier....What I
demonstrated was just a reflection of the excellent training I received."
Gene R.
"I couldn't have done it without you." James
B.
"You don't know how much this means to me." Andy M.
Why fly with me? Because I have more than 30 years of flying
experience, and I won't be leaving you in the middle of your training to take a
job with the airlines. You'll also get the best possible instruction from one of
the very few Master CFI's in the area. As an FAA Aviation Safety Counselor, I
often give presentations on safety, and all of my flight instructions includes a
strong emphasis on safety. I can also help you choose a flight club from which
to rent planes that best meets your needs.
The National Association of Flight Instructors recently
awarded Max Trescott the Master CFI designation,
now held by only three CFI's in the San Francisco Bay area.
Get a taste of flying and hear other people getting their training now! San
Jose Flight Training is the only place you'll hear Live audio from the
Reid-Hillview Tower, which I stream as a public service.
Advanced Services for Licensed Pilots
TSA Requirements
The Transportation Security Administration announced
new rules in October, 2004, and we can help new flight training candidates meet
these requirements. For U.S. citizens starting to learn to fly, please
bring a passport or birth certificate to your first lesson. For resident
aliens, you can take a demo flight to decide if you want to fly before
getting TSA approval. If you decide to continue, then establish an account online at www.flightschoolcandidates.gov
and contact me.
You can find more details of the new rules at www.aopa.org/tsa_rule
Or email
me now.
